I have a childhood friend who is a actor. He told me the best way to get a job on stage,TV or the movies is to learn to tap dance and do the soft shoe when you audition. Besides knowing your lines.

This is true entertainment, and a great piece to watch and listen too. I like special effects, but it seems today that some films are less written and more about display. This is wonderful scene and the writers did as much dancing as the actors did, and here Bob and James did wonders for the scene bringing their own talent and adding to the dance and the script, as only they could. Great job guys!!! I would say God has a great theatre in heaven and takes great enjoyment in these two pros....

James Cagney has a fractured leg in this scene. It much have hurt like hell, but he did it anyway. A real pro.

@lewisner Absolutely! On his TV specials there might be some soft shoe steps, but I believe this is the best example of dancing I've ever seen by Mr. Hope.
